Buildings and decorations can be purchased and placed anywhere you have cleared land. Buildings earn you coins over time, decorations placed close enough to buildings or dinosaurs will increase the amount of coins they produce. It is possible to have more than one decoration affect the same building or dinosaur – the bonuses add up.
Jurassic World Aftermath is a videogame designed for VR, then ported in a full collection to Switch. While it does lose some of its charm outside of a headset, it’s a good option if you get motion-sick. It’s a straightforward stealth game, sure, but with a first-person perspective and a bunch of velociraptors on your tail, I’m sure you could get immersed easily enough.
During the game, the player must build Jurassic World by adding dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals which can be obtained via special card packs or by buying them. In order to buy a dinosaur, however, the player must unlock it by completing a challenge in the Arena, an Earth Shattering unlock event or a Shake the Earth Tournament. There are also many missions given by the main characters which can grant the player resources such as dinobucks, coins, food, DNA, S(super)-DNA and Loyalty Points.

In combat, you’ll notice a yellow indicator will show up once you attack an enemy, this means the attack is hitting at full potential. The blue color will show up if it’s not doing much damage or if it’s weak against the enemy. Orange will show up if you manage to perform a critical hit, and white if it’s a neutral attack.

New World isn’t meant to be a static game, we want it to be constantly evolving in ways you find fun, while still being familiar and true to its nature. My hope is you’ll love what we’ve got now but find it getting even better every month. That’s our goal for ourselves. Sometimes, we’re going to make mistakes against that goal – we are not perfect. The game mechanics offer PvP combat with and without questing. Before leaving a safe-zone settlement, players have the option to set the “flagged state” – which will make them vulnerable to attacks from other flagged players and vice versa. PvP Flagged state is activated after 30 seconds cooldown which starts after players leave the zone of settlement.
