The world’s hardest game
This game is very frustrating and annoying. I hate that if you go off of the game that restarts all the levels that you did, I understand that this is to make the game harder but it’s incredibly annoying. https://jodieprengerofficial.com/ The controls could be better, they are very hard for me to use. I also wish that there was a way to turn the music off. I know that it’s probably supposed to be a distraction but….I think there should still be an option to turn it off.
Challenging beyond measure, “Sekiro” takes the cake by denying the players the possibility to grind endlessly or switch to a different playstyle compared to its Souls brethren. You either learn how to parry or embrace defeat. Since you’re playing as a master shinobi, stealth is a viable option and does slightly trivialize certain encounters; however, bosses (and even mini-bosses) hit hard, fast, and relentlessly. The base game is so crushingly difficult, there is barely any point mentioning the “Demon Bell” that serves as a harder mode. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
That being said, it’s the first Dark Souls game that deserves accolades when it comes to difficulty. The title took the Demon’s Souls formula and made it even harder, and bleaker, and filled its dark world with so many masochistic delights it would make a Cenebite blush. Elden Ring may have taken the series into the light, but it was Dark Souls that enveloped players in FromSoft’s addictive shroud.

Loosely following the story of the graphic novels, up to four players can play as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine or Stephen Stills, along with the unlockable character NegaScott and the downloadable characters Knives Chau and Wallace Wells, who must battle through seven levels in order to defeat Ramona’s seven evil exes. Characters have their own individual movesets, which can be expanded upon by gaining enough experience, and are also able to use weapons. Each player has Heart Points and Guts Points, the latter of which can revive players if they are knocked out, or be used to perform special moves such as summoning Knives or the unlockable assist character Mr. Chau. Defeating enemies earns coins which can be spent in shops to purchase items that can replenish health or boost stats. Certain items can be taken “to go” to be automatically used when the player runs out of health. Players can also enter Subspace areas which act as bonus areas where extra coins can be earned. During co-operative play, players can revive fallen comrades at the cost of some money, give each other health or money, and simultaneously taunt for a combined attack. Various cheat codes unlock extra features, such as a Sound Test, a Boss Rush and a Survival Horror mode.
What is the hardest game in the world
The case could be made for really any of the Dark Souls games or even predecessor Demon’s Souls to be on this list but we’re going with the first Dark Souls as it’s largely responsible for starting the trend that other titles like Nioh have tried to latch onto in recent years. While other game developers go out of their way to make sure players do not get too frustrated, FromSoftware takes the opposite path. Dark Souls is a game that revels in your screams and laughs at your tears. There is simply no amount of leveling up that will save you if you don’t know how to “get good.”
video games aren’t as genetic lottery as real world sports so nah league isn’t even imo the hardest esport feel like fortnite/rocket league are harder purely of the fact that there age avg lines up perfectly with the peak avg of age in video games like early 20’s is like a senior in those esports
The rise of indie gaming seems to have brought with it an endless supply of roguelikes, but few have become as recognizable as Spelunky. Featuring procedurally-generated environments and punishing permadeath, Spelunky is a game that’s easy to pick and up play, but very difficult to master. Players will learn from each death and can use that knowledge to make it a little bit farther in the game each time, but a new threat is always waiting around the corner to send them back to the very beginning.
league is already an easier dota starcraft is also much harder i’d argue even fortnite mechanics are harder than league in terms of irl sports i gravitate towards combat sports being the hardest not just because of the skill it takes but because of the toll it takes on your body as well (bit biased as im a kickboxer but wtv)
Microsoft got fans excited a couple of years ago by teasing what some thought was a new Battletoads game after the classic title was included on Rare Replay, but outside of a couple of appearances in Killer Instinct and Shovel Knight, we’re still waiting for the return of Rash, Zitz and Pimple. Then again, given how many controllers we’ve destroyed while playing the original game, maybe it’s for the best.
